History in a range of schools

Public Group active 2 years ago

Teaching methodologies vary across schools, depending on the administration (lets face it, it is a reality), depending on the curriculum that the school follows and depending on the facilities available.
I am very keen to hear from educators who work in low income schools, particularly about issues like:

a) How do you make history teaching not just about the textbooks.
b) What kind of teaching tools do you use? Do you have access to audio visual aids?
c) If not, what kind of material do you use?
