    A class teacher, I have live to learn, wields a lot of power in the classroom, despite what we say about times changing. I think s/he still has the power (for want of a better word) to set the ‘tone’ of the class – of tolerance and acceptance. Maybe not in one week or two, but eventually.

    • Its true Mini. Class teachers do play a hugely influential role on young minds. And that makes the responsibility of shaping values and leading by example that much more crucial for all teachers.
