Having set some theoretical ground in the first session around how borders and margins translate and overlap in the socio political context, with this one we hope to explore literature that speak of the lived experiences of these spaces—the borders, margins and in between. What do these texts voice—some common threads tying the very diverse circumstances of oppressions, some distinctive points of departure? If history has to remember these struggles, these lives and these voices, literature sure becomes its foremost ally in this endeavour. And we today want to explore some of those pages. Rajosmita (History for Peace) will be in conversation with Oorna, who works with the People's Archive of Rural India (PARI).
