Conference to Classroom: chapter I

We recently concluded the highly successful third conference, The Idea of India, which was held on 14, 15, 16 and 17 August 2017.

Engaging further with the valuable discussions, thoughts and ideas that were shared at the conference, we plan to organise a series of workshops that explore ways of incorporating these into the practice of teaching history. The first in the series ‘Conference to Classroom', was organised in association with Modern Academy of Continuing Education (MACE) and facilitated by educators from Modern High School for Girls— Ms. S. Saha, Ms. A. Sen, Ms. C. De Bakshi, Ms. S. Biswas and Ms. S. Chatterjee—based on sessions they attended at the conference.
