We at present, are living in extremely troubled and difficult times. We are also living at the juncture of a new era—an era that calls for more hope for a better tomorrow, an era demanding probably more humanity from us, and an era to rethink our relationships with the spaces around us, especially our cities.

Pandemics, natural disasters, wars, violence, political and economic turmoils—every situation of crisis creates new ways of thinking about, and forging relationships between the city and its peoples. When peoples relocate their lives in a post-crisis period, what role does the city play in helping them find a home for themselves and bring some stability to their lives? How does the city, with its sights, sounds, and smells, hold together, define and redefine the lives of its peoples?

Let's talk about this, the struggles to emerge out of a crisis situation, and the anticipation of a new era of 'city-people' relations.
