About the Event

'Wherever a dialogue turns into a monologue, you have an oppressor and an oppressed. And that's where the Theatre of the Oppressed comes in.' - Augusto Boal

Boal was in Kolkata in 1994 when he conducted a series of workshops, and gave an interview to the Seagull Theatre Quarterly (STQ).

Please join us tomorrow as we read and discuss Boal and his idea of the theatre with Anjum Katyal, the editor of the STQ.
