About the Event

The workshop on Media Literacy was held on 28 April at The Seagull Foundation for the Arts. The workshop, facilitated by Joyeeta Dey, saw participation from educators and students.

The workshop included discussions on how to differentiate fake news from authentic news, suggestions of ways to implement critical thinking about these issues in the classroom scenario and conversations with journalists.
